The Portuguese youngsters needed a win against the country host to qualify for the U19 Euro semi-finals and secure at the same time their World Cup U20 spot. Mission accomplished for the Seleçao thanks notably to a player who took part in the Maurice Revello Tournament 2018 : Joao Filipe commonly known as Jota.
The Benfica starlet netted a wonderful free-kick in the first half before delivering two assists for his club teammates José Gomes and Mesaque Dju.

Unbeaten and leaders of the group B ahead of the last matchday, the English players have been totally outclassed by Les Bleuets.
