Each international break is the opportunity for several players who took part in the Maurice Revello Tournament to make their international debut. Over the last days, some of them earned their first international cap.
Gibran Lajud, Raul Gudino and José Carlos Van Rankin (Mexico)
Mexico earned a 3-2 win over Costa Rica in a friendly. Both Gibran Lajud and José Carlos Van Rankin have been included in the starting XI and made their international debut. In the second half, Raul Gudino has also made his first appearance on the international scene.
Takehiro Tomiyasu (Japan)
Only few months after taking part in the Maurice Revello Tournament 2018, the 19-year-old defender made his debut with the Samuraï Blue in a friendly against Panama (3-0) and played the full game.
Vakoun Bayo (Ivory Coast)
His stunning start to the season in the Slovakian top flight with Dunajska Streda has been rewarded with a first international cap. Bayo came off the bench during the second half and helped Les Elephants to clinch a 4-0 win over Central African Republic in the Matchday 3 of the AFCON 2019 qualifiers.

Paul-Georges Ntep (Cameroon)
After representing France two times at the senior level, the Wolfsburg player has decided to continue his international career with Cameroon. Given the FIFA rules, this scenario was still possible as the 26-year-old attacking midfielder has only took part in friendlies with Les Bleus. On this Saturday, he has definitely switched his international allegiance from France to Les Lions Indomptables as he came off the bench during the AFCON 2019 qualifier against Malawi (1-0).
