The Maurice Revello Tournament 2019 ended with Brazil being crowned champions. Find out below who makes the team of the tournament.

Chen Wei (China) : His left-hand save against Bahrain during the group stage is still fresh in the minds. The Shanghai SIPG keeper distinguished himself thanks to his several saves in this 47th edition.

Emerson (Brazil) : For his second appearance at the Maurice Revello Tournament (after 2017), the FC Barcelona shone on his right flank. His work rate on the pitch was impressive and his crosses accurate. A real asset for Brazil in the 4-3-3 established by the coach André Jardine.

Lyanco (Brazil) : A rock ! Alongside Murilo, Lyanco was outstanding : short passes, long passes, tackles, anticipation, the Torino defender has shown off his talent and has been named second best player of the Maurice Revello Tournament 2019.

Keiya Shiihashi (Japan) : After participating to the previous edition with Japan, the Funabashi-born came back this year and confirmed his talent in this 47th edition.. The centre-back has always shown the right attitude, an example for his teammates.

Yuki Soma (Japan) : The right-footed defender was used as a left-back and shone throughout the tournament notably thanks to his ability to bring presence in the final third of the pitch. He has notably scored the equalizer against Mexico in the semi-finals. A crucial goal that helped Japan to eventually secure the qualification to the final.

Douglas Luiz (Brazil) : The Brazilian starlet has been named best player of the Maurice Revello Tournament 2019. He is the kind of player who can totally control a game, an absolute joy to watch ! A real leader, technically gifted, who led his side to the title.

Ao Tanaka (Japan) : The Japanese midielder was a key player for the Samuraï Blue notably thanks to his accuracy in the passes. He has also shone by his ability to recover the ball.

Antony (Brazil) : The right winger was a constant threat for his opponents throughout the tournament. He has notably produced a man-of-the match display against France. He has as well scored the opener against Japan in final. It would not be a surprise to see him in Europe in a near future.

Vitor Ferreira (Portugal) : He has been named breakthrough player of the Maurice Revello Tournament 2019. After winning the Youth League with FC Porto, the Portuguese youngster has produced strong displays in this 47th edition : he can create chances and opportunities out of thin air.

Paulinho (Brazil) : Paulinho, who received a last-minute call-up, has shown off his huge talent here in Provence. The Bayer Leverkusen starlet helped his side to lift the trophy as he scored three goals. A brilliant future awaits the 18-year-old…

Matheus Cunha (Brazil) : The RB Leipzig has been excellent in this 47th edition. Cunha quickly earned a place in the starting XI and has been decisive : he finished as the tournament’s top scorer with four goals.
