While the summer transfer market has just closed its doors, it is now time to take a look at the Maurice Revello Tournament graduates who could make a name for themselves this season in Bundesliga. From Alderete to Santamaria, here is our list of ten players !

Omar Alderete (Hertha Berlin)

After a successful first season in Europe under the colours of FC Basel last year (28 games, 1 goal), the Paraguayan defender has landed at the end of the transfer market in the German capital. A pure product of Cerro Porteño, the famous Paraguayan club, Alderete arrived at the age of 23 in a major league with the aim of being one of the best players of the country. If he demonstrates the qualities seen in the Maurice Revello Tournament 2016, there is no doubt that he will succeed quickly.

Jhon Cordoba (Hertha Berlin)

Like Alderete, the Colombian striker joined Hertha this summer. After the last two full seasons in Cologne (60 matches, 33 goals), the sturdy centre-forward is hoping to build on last year's excellent performances. Matheus Cunha (Hertha Berlin)

Keita Endo (Union Berlin)

Iago (Augsburg)

The attacking midfielder with above-average technique should still be an indispensable player for Eintracht this year. Jean-Philippe Mateta (Mainz)

The striker is already in his third season under the Mainz jersey and this is probably the most important one. After two rather successful first years (52 games, 17 goals), the former Lyon man has changed his status since then and now has to carry the attack of his team. Paulinho (Bayer Leverkusen)

At just 20 years old, he is the youngest player on this list but probably not the least talented. Arriving in Germany in the summer of 2018 from Vasco de Gama, the fast striker has been adapting to European football since. He scored 3 goals in 5 games during the Maurice Revello Tournament 2019 and has also scored 3 times in 28 appearances for Bayer. His playing time should increase again this season, to our great pleasure.

Diadié Samassekou (Hoffenheim)

His arrival in Hoffenheim last summer had been a surprise, as the Malian was expected to join RB Leipzig. But the midfielder, who has moved from Salzburg, has probably made a profitable choice. After a correct first season (21 games), Samassekou is expected to be an important player for his club this year. After two games that he started, he hopes to confirm the expectations, which are legitimate in view of his potential.

Baptiste Santamaria (Freiburg)

After four seasons in Angers, the midfielder decided to take off. The Frenchman travelled to Germany and Freiburg this summer for a sum of around 15 millions euros. An important sum but not illogical for a player who has become a must for the Angers SCO by his activity and his quality of passes. Santamaria, who has played twice since his arrival, has everything it takes to become an important Bundesliga player.
