The Bundesliga's 2022-2023 season starts on this Friday. 30 Maurice Revello Tournament graduates will play in the Italian top-flight this season.
Of the 30 players who passed through the Maurice Revello Tournament and are involved in Serie A this season, 5 played in the Tournament in 2022: Lucien Agoumé (France, Inter), Matias Soulé (Argentina, Juventus), Luka Romero (Argentina, Lazio), Telasco Segovia (Venezuela, Sampdoria) and Brandon Soppy (France, Udinese).
Among them, Telasco Segovia will undoubtedly be one of the players to watch closely. Named best player of the 2022 edition of the Tournament, the Venezuelan midfielder has immense qualities at only 19 years-old.
We will also be keeping a close eye on the development of the two Argentinians, Matias Soulé and Luka Romero, who were very much in the spotlight during the Tournament and will be making a few appearances for their respective clubs this season.
Among the 30 former Tournament players in Serie A this season, there are also a number of regulars, such as Colombians Zapata and Muriel and Italians Candreva and Gabbiadini.
It will also be a season of confirmation for the two Englishmen Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham, both of whom put in excellent performances last year.
