After their first win of the tournament on Friday against South Korea (1-0), France were back in action on Sunday for their final Group A match. The objective was simple: to win while waiting to see the next results and finish as high as possible. Facing the Bleuets was a Saudi Arabian team who, prior to this match, had recorded one win and one defeat. The Saudis, who had shown good form in their previous matches, were keen to get back on track and beat the French. In a match of varying pace, it was Landry Chauvin's side who came out on top, finishing with a comprehensive 4-0 victory.
