Colombia tames France
En première mi-temps, les deux équipes semblent crispées par l’enjeu. Pour rappel, cette rencontre entre la France et la Colombie est en quelque sorte la finale du groupe. Les dix premières minutes du match sont à l’avantage des Bleus, les joueurs de Willy Sagnol parviennent à mettre le pied sur le ballon. Peu à peu, les Colombiens réussissent à sorti, mais il n’y aura pas d’occasion nette jusqu’à la 22ème minute : Ghezzal glisse le ballon à Imbula dans la surface. Le milieu de terrain frappe en première intention et oblige Bonilla à claquer au-dessus de son but ! Plus tard dans le match, les Français touchent par deux fois la barre. D’abord par Mulumba sur un coup-franc excentré (33’), puis deux minutes plus tard, c’est au tour d’Imbula de frapper sur la barre des 20 mètres (35'). Finalement, la France va ouvrir le score par l’intermédiaire de Ntep (36’). Puel tente une première fois mais est contré, Kurzawa se retrouve seul face à Bonilla mais perd son duel. Ntep bien placé profite du rebond pour envoyer une tête au fond des filets ! Score à la mi-temps : France 1-0 Colombie.
Les Colombiens retournent la situation
Au retour des vestiaires, les Colombiens jouent avec d’autres intentions. Ils se montrent très motivés et égalisent dès la 53ème par Vergara qui coupe la trajectoire du ballon sur un coup franc. Quatre minutes plus tard seulement, les sud-Américains prennent l’avantage. Là encore, c’est une histoire de coup-franc. Palomeque frappe le coup de pied arrêté et profite d'un contre du mur pour tromper Diallo. 2-1 pour la Colombie ! Quel retournement de situation ! Au Parc des Sports d’Avignon, les supporters colombiens venus en nombre se font entendre. En toute fin de match, la Colombie marquera un troisième but. Malgré plusieurs occasions, le score n’évoluera plus. France 1-3 Colombie, une victoire méritée.

During the second half, Colombiens play better than in the first. They show how motivated they are and they equalize in the 53th minute. The equalization is by Vergara who change the way of the ball on a free-kick. Only four minutes later, south Americans will take the advantage. Once again, it’s a free-kick story. Palomeque shots the free-kick and sees his ball divert by the wall to beat Diallo. 2-1 for Colombia ! What a come-back ! At the “Parc des Sports d’Avignon”, Colombia fans set fire to the stadium, amazing atmosphere ! At the end of the game, Colombia will score an other goal. Even with some occasions, score won’t change until the end. France 1-3 Colombia, a deserved victory.
