La rencontre entre la Chine et le Portugal, deux équipes invaincues, a été riche en buts . Le match démarre sur les chapeaux de roue. Si la Chine a la possession de balle lors des premières minutes, c’est bien le Portugal qui ouvre la marque grâce à un superbe lob d’Horta (POR,7) (0-1 13’). Après le but, le Portugal domine mais va pourtant se faire rejoindre à cause d’un but litigieux. Malgré le doute, l’arbitre estime que le tir de LI (CHI, 20) a franchi la ligne. (1-1, 26’). Peut-être piqués au vif, les Portugais vont se mettre à l’abri avant la pause. L’arbitre accorde deux penaltys à la Seleçcao. Ils sont transformés par Semedo (POR, 13) (1-2, 34’) et Horta (POR,7) qui s’offre un doublé (1-3, 39’).

La seconde période est moins animée que la première. Le Portugal gère tranquillement son avance et va même aggraver la marque. Sur une erreur monumentale de Liao (CHI, 16), H.Costa (POR,11) récupère le ballon et fusille le portier adverse (1-4, 65’). La messe est dite. Le Portugal enregistre sa troisième victoire consécutive et prend la tête du groupe.

The game between China and Portugal, two teams undefeated, was spectacular. We don’t have to wait a lot of time to see the first goal. Horta (POR, 7) opens the score with a subtle lob (0-1, 13’). After the goal, Portugal has the ball possession but China will equalize thanks to a litigious goal. Despite of the doubt, the referee thinks that Li’s (CHI,20) shot cross the line (1-1, 26’).
Maybe irritated, Portuguese players will take shelter from the opponent. The referee gives two penalties for Portugal. Semedo (POR, 13) beats the Chinese goalkeeper (1-2, 34’) just like Horta (POR, 20) who scores his second goal of the day (1-3, 39’).

The second half is less spectacular. Portugal controls the game quietly and will score another goal. After an unbelievable mistake of Liao (CHI,16), H.Costa (POR, 11) gets the ball and scores his third goal in this tournament (1-4, 65’). Portugal wins his third successive win and takes the lead of the group.
