Every week, we take our usual look around the best championships to follow the performances of the players who contested the Toulon Tournament in the past.

In France, Paul-Georges N’tep (France – 2013) proved again that he is one of the Ligue 1’s brightest young talents. Stade Rennais beat RC Lens (2-0) and the French winger scored twice including a fantastic curling shot from outside the box.
In England, a young player who contested the tournament is currently very efficient. Saido Berahino (England – 2014) scored his 5th goal of the season in Premier League. It was against Liverpool but his team was beaten by the Reds (1-2).

In Spain, two Portuguese players who played the Festival in the past were very good this week-end. The first is André Gomes (Portugal – 2013) who scored after a fine solo effort against Atletico Madrid. This goal helped Valencia, his team, to win against the Colchoneros (3-1).
The second is the unbelievable Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal – 2003). Real Madrid destroyed Athletic Bilbao (5-0) and can thank its Portuguese forward who scored a hat-trick. The Real Madrid has already scored 13 goals in la Liga !

In Italy, Keisuke Honda (Japan – 2008) confirms his very good start to the season. He helped AC Milan to defeat Chievo Verona (2-0) in scoring again. It’s the 4th goal in Serie A for the Japanese midfielder. It should also be noted that Bruno Fernandes (Portugal – 2014) scored his first of the season during the draw between Udinese and Cesena (1-1).
