Chaque semaine, nous revenons sur les performances des joueurs passés par le Festival International Espoirs. Plusieurs d’entre eux ont brillé ce week-end.
En Angleterre, Graziano Pellé (Italie – 2008) confirme sa forme actuelle en inscrivant un doublé lors de la magistrale victoire de Southampton face à Sunderland (8-0) ! Plus tard, Eduardo Vargas (Chili – 2010) a également inscrit deux buts pour QPR mais son équipe s’incline sur le fil face à Liverpool (2-3).
En Espagne, les semaines se suivent et se ressemblent pour Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal – 2003). Le Ballon d’Or a de nouveau marqué un doublé pour le Real Madrid face à Levante (5-0). Dans le même match, James Rodriguez (Colombie – 2011) a marqué un but et délivré une passe décisive.
En France, le PSG a battu Lens (3-1) et le doit en partie à ses joueurs passés par le Festival. Yohan Cabaye (France – 2006) a égalisé d’une lourde frappe tandis que Maxwell (Brésil – 2002) a marqué un lob absolument magnifique pour donner l’avantage aux Parisiens.
Enfin en Italie, Keisuke Honda (Japon – 2007) est tout simplement sur un nuage. Ce dernier a inscrit un doublé pour l’AC Milan lors de la vicoire face au Hellas Verone (3-1). Le milieu japonais est le meilleur buteur de la Serie A actuellement avec six buts marqués. A noter également que Mattia Destro (Italie – 2011) a ouvert le score pour l’AS Rome face au Chievo Vérone (3-0) grâce à une superbe tête plongeante.
