Chaque semaine, nous revenons sur les performances des joueurs passés par le Festival International Espoirs. Plusieurs d’entre eux ont brillé ce week-end.
En Ligue 1, Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco (Belgique – 2013) confirme sa bonne forme actuelle. L’ailier belge a inscrit le but de la victoire pour l’AS Monaco face au FC Metz (1-0). Plus tard, Ricky Van Wolfswinkel (Pays-Bas – 2009) a marqué son 5e but de la saison lors du succès de Saint-Etienne face à Evian TG (3-0). De son côté, Lyon a humilié Bordeaux (5-0) et l’un des buts de la rencontre fut inscrit par Jordan Ferri (France – 2013).
En Premier League, Southampton a gagné facilement face à Everton (3-0) et peut remercier les anciens joueurs du Festival : Graziano Pellé (Italie – 2008) et Maya Yoshida (Japon – 2008) ont chacun scoré pour les Saints. Le lendemain, Mathieu Debuchy (France – 2005) a enregistré son premier but de la saison lors du match nul rocambolesque entre Liverpool et Arsenal (2-2).
Dans les autres championnats, Manolo Gabbiadini (Italie – 2011) a marqué le but de l’égalisation pour la Sampdoria face à l’Udinese (2-2). C’est le septième but en Serie A pour l’avant-centre italien.
