USA : the undisputed queens of women’s football will play the Sud Ladies Cup
The best nation in women’s football will take part in the Sud Ladies Cup ! USA are the most-titled nation in the World Cup history (3 titles) and the joint most successful team in the World Cup U20 history (3 titles) alongside Germany, another participant of the Sud Ladies Cup.
Renowned for his level of excellence, the American national team will come in the south of France in order to prepare the upcoming World Cup U20 which will be held from 5th to 24th August in our country. USA secured a World Cup spot after finishing runners-up of the CONCACAF Championship U20.
“We love to find the most challenging games we can. Harder opposition will make us a better team. Playing France in France can only help this team prepare for the World Cup”, said the USA U20 team’s head coach Jitka Klimkova ahead of the Sud Ladies Cup.
As a reminder, USA will face Germany (5th June), Haiti (7th June) and France (10th June) during the Sud Ladies Cup.
