The France women’s team won 5-0 against Haïti. A good start of tournament for Les Bleues, as Julie Piga said.
« It’s a great victory, we scored a lot of goals, we take some confidence. This was a good game, we put in place what was planned by the coach, keep the ball and score as many goals as possible.
The goal is to create some links for the World Cup, create a good atmosphere between us, win the games and get into a good dynamic. Haiti is a very combative team, and that’s why they can be very dangerous. We knew that they go a lot in the duels, that’s why from the start we wanted to answer as well. In the game, they suffered, we did the right thing. »
