Three in a row for France. After their two first win against DPR Korea (0-0, 4-3 pen) and Haiti (4-0), Les Bleuettes clinched a third victory in three games over Gabon this Monday (6-0). And for the third successive time, they kept a clean-sheet. Thanks to this win, France are now on the top of the Sud Ladies Cup table with eight points, just ahead DPR Korea, with seven points.
Sonia Ouchene (9’), Chloe Philippe (51’), Naomie Feller (67’), Maelle Lakrar (74’, 90) and Chaima Badr-Bassem (77’) scored the six French goals. For Gabon, this is a third defeat in a row. With 24 goals conceded in three games, the African nation is on the bottom of the table and will surely suffer again during the competition.
