Several players who have featured in the Sud Ladies Cup are concerned by the different transfers done in the last few days. Here is a summary.

Even if the women's transfer market is not as much talked about as its male counterpart, it is still very animated. Several players who appeared in the Sud Ladies Cup have decided to move on during this transfer market.

The biggest transfers are on the French side. Naomie Feller, who played until now for Stade de Reims, will play for Real Madrid next season. Free of any contract after a good season with the Reims team, the young Frenchwoman, who played in the Sud Ladies Cup in 2019, will continue her progression in the women's section of the Madrid club, officially launched in July 2020.

Margaux Le Mouël, her teammate in the tournament, has just joined Paris FC. This is another important step in her career after four years at Guingamp, where she has been very consistent. In the last two seasons, the 20-year-old midfielder has played 43 league games (22 in 2021/2022 and 21 in 2020/2021). She was part of the victorious French U19 team at Euro 2019 shortly after the 2nd Sud Ladies Cup.

Other French players, who took part in the first edition of the Sud Ladies Cup (2018), changed clubs this summer. Emelyne Laurent will be playing in the Bundesliga next season. At the end of her contract with Olympique Lyonnais, she has just signed for Bayern Munich until 2025. Present at the 2019 World Cup in France, she will try to revive her career after a failed experience at OL.

For her part, Léa Khelifi continues her journey in the French league. After playing for Paris-Saint-Germain, Metz and Dijon, the Strasbourg native is joining Montpellier for this new season. Khelifi did not wish to extend her contract with the capital club, wanting more playing time to continue her progression.

She was also present at the Sud Ladies Cup in 2018 but with Germany. Dina Orschmann leaves Turbine Potsdam to join Rangers. The 24-year-old midfielder is heading to Scotland after a full season (25 games, 5 goals). This is a new challenge for the German, who has only had a short interlude (UCF Knights, USA) outside her native country.

Having made a name for herself with Tottenham and Arsenal, Silvana Flores is about to take a new step in her career. The 20-year-old Mexican midfielder is joining CF Monterrey and will be discovering a new league. The best player of the 2019 Sud Ladies Cup has all the qualities needed to make a lasting impression in Liga MX.

Finally, Marit Auée, who has just competed in the 2022 edition of the Sud Ladies Cup, has signed for FC Twente. The 20-year-old Dutch defender had been playing for Zwolle FC since the start of her career.
