Anas Al Asbahi, Toulon Tournament 2015 runner-up with Morocco, earned his first international call-up at senior level as the Wydad Casablanca midfielder has been selected by the head coach Hervé Renard for the friendly against Albania (August 31) as well as for the AFCON 2017 qualifier against São Tomé and Príncipe (September 4).
The midfielder has emerged as a key player for Wydad Casablanca over the last months. The 22-year-old has produced some convincing performances in the Moroccan league and helped Wydad Casablanca to reach the African Champion’s League semi-finals.
