France start Toulon Tournament campaign with a brilliant win against Mexico

France realise a perfect start as the Bleuets earned a 3-1 win over Mexico. The first half was thrilling. Four minutes after the kick-off, “El Tri” took the lead thanks to Gonzalez (MEX, 7). However, France level the scores quickly as Guirassy (FRA, 9) equalised after 9 minutes. Just before the half time, Batubinsika (FRA, 5) netted the France second goal with a beautiful header.

During the second half, just before the hour mark, Lopez (MEX, 3) was sent off for a foul on Mousset (FRA, 10) in the penalty area. Then, Guirassy (FRA, 9) converted the penalty to score his second goal of the game and to help France to clinch a deserved win.
