32 Maurice Revello Tournament graduates to compete in the Gold Cup

While both Euro and Copa America are coming to an end, the 16th edition of the Gold Cup will start on 10th July and will be held until 1st August in the United States. 31 players and coaches seen previously at the Maurice Revello Tournament will compete in the CONCACAF’s prestigious competition.

  • The Maurice Revello Tournament graduates clinched all the individual awards during last Gold Cup held in 2019 : Guillermo Ochoa (Mexico) has been named best goalkeeper of the competition, Jonathan David (Canada) finished as the tournament’s top scorer (6 goals) while Raul Jimenez (Mexico) won the best player award.

  • Qatar will compete in the Gold Cup as a guest. In the past, CONCACAF invited several teams like South Africa, Brazil, Colombia or South Korea to play the Gold Cup.

  • Title holders Mexico are also the most successful team in the Gold Cup history (11 titles).
