Côte d'Ivoire outclass France to win on debut
On the first day of the tournament, France face Ivory Coast in Vitrolles. After Saudi Arabia's victory over South Korea in the tournament opener, the French looked to be favourites against the Ivorians. However, it was Ivory Coast that took the spoils in an emphatic 2-0 victory.
