Following Ivory Coast's victory over Republik Korea earlier in the afternoon, this Group A clash brought the Maurice Revello Tournament to a close. Both teams played an interesting game, especially in the second half. After a draw at the final whistle, Mexico prevailed on penalties (2-2, 4-3 after TAB).
