England clinched their third win in a row in this Toulon Tournament 2016 as the Young Three Lions beat Paraguay (4-0). During the beginning of the game, each team had a big chance to take the lead but neither side could find an opening : the Diaz and Villasanti’s shots were stopped by Pickford while the Redmond’s effort was off the target. Finally, England break the deadlock after 34 minutes : picked out by Loftus-Cheek, Baker lifted a curling effort from the edge of the box into the top corner !
After 45 minutes, the Young Three Lions doubled their lead thanks to Loftus-Cheek with a left-foot shot. Just before the hour mark, the Chelsea midfielder netted his second goal of the night with a lovely chip over the goalkeeper. These two goals capped a wonderful performance from Loftus-Cheek ! Few minutes later, Redmond got his name on the score sheet too after a brilliant solo run !
With three wins in three games, the Young Three Lions have now a big chance to qualify for the final !
