More than 1700 international players took part in the Toulon Tournament founded in 1967 by Maurice Revello. Many of these players have enjoyed a successful career . Ahead of the 45th edition of the Toulon Tournament (29 May-10 June), we unveil you the best 100 players in the Toulon Tournament history. Today, we continue our countdown by looking at the players ranked 15-11.
15. DAVID TREZEGUET
Born on 15th October 1977

The Toulon Tournament 1998 was the occasion to discover a young midfielder named Frank Lampard, after he scored against South Africa during group round. A few years later, he became the best goal scorer in Chelsea history (211 goals) and won several titles and a Champions League with the Blues.

Hugo Sanchez is one of the players who have taken part to the Toulon Tournament twice (1975 and 1976 for him). At this moment, the Mexican striker was pretty unknown. On 1981, Sanchez arrived in Europe and stayed there for ten years. Just the time to end five times as the best goal scorer of Liga with Atletico and Real Madrid.
