Cristiano Ronaldo was a teenager when he won the Toulon Tournament 2003 with Portugal. At that moment, the Portuguese superstar was only 18. Few weeks after the competition, he has joined Manchester United where he became a legend.
Ronaldo has adapted quickly to the English football and helped the Red Devils to win the Premier League three times, the League Cup twice as well as the FA Cup. He has also guided Manchester United to the Champion’s League title in 2008. Few months later, the Sporting Portugal youth academy product has clinched his first Ballon d’Or.
Then, Ronaldo became the most expensive signing in football transfer history as he moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid in a 94M€ deal. Since joining the Casa Blanca, Ronaldo has confirmed that he’s obviously one of the greatest players of all-time.
The first player ever to score 100 European goals
In eight years, Ronaldo has scored 405 goals with the Spanish club and helped Los Merengues to win the Champion’s League two times and the Liga twice. Meanwhile, he added three Ballon d’Or (2013, 2014, 2016) to his massive collection.
This season, Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first player to reach a century of goals in European competition and the success story isn’t over yet as the Real Madrid star has the opportunity to win again the Champion’s League at the end of the current season as Real Madrid will face Juventus in final.
During his career, Ronaldo has also helped Portugal to win their first ever European Championship in 2016. Simply amazing...
