In the second game of group A, England smashed Cuba (7-1). After a quiet start, the game really changes at the 19th minute, when Brooks goes inside the penalty area and crosses to Barnes, who scores the first goal. Then, it's Reece James who finds Hirst on another cross for the second goal of the match. But Cuba wants to reply quickly and Jorge Issac Querol's men will do it. Puga Saucedo in found with a long pass on the penalty area's right side and wins his face-to-face against Schofield, giving some hope to Cuba. But just before the break Cuba's player Sandro Herve is excluded (40') for a very dangerous tackle on Ronaldo Vieira.
During the second half, and because of the red card, Cuba literally sank. England score five more goals with Hirst (54',65'), Barnes (45'), Brooks (62') and Taylor-Crossdale (77'). Due to their numerical superiority, England completely bang Cuba. With this win, the Three Lions confirm the favorite status and they will be tough to beat during the next games of the Tournament.
