France to take part in the Sud Ladies Cup, with the World Cup in mind
How could it be otherwise ? For the first edition of the Sud Ladies Cup, France Women team had to be part of it. The perfect preparation, two months before the U20 World Cup from 5th to 24th August… in France.
Finalist of the last World Cup on 2016, French U20 lost against North Korea. This time, the meeting is fixed in Bretagne with the unique goal to clinch the trophy at home. Before, they should prepare in the best way. To manage it, nothing better than facing two big nations as USA and Germany and an outsider like Haïti during the Sud Ladies Cup.
During 2016 U20 World Cup, France already faced Americans and Germans. After a draw against the first (0-0), they beat the second (1-0) in quarter-final. A good sign for this first edition of the Sud Ladies Cup ?
