Selma Bacha (France)

Named « Player of the Month » in the French top-flight on October, Selma Bacha has been rewarded as well by a first France call-up. Included in the starting XI for the World Cup 2023 qualifier against Kazakhstan (6-0), the Lyon shone as she has been involved in the opener scored by Les Bleues.

At only 21, the talented French left-back enjoys a sensational start to the career as she has also won three Champions League titles and two French championships with Lyon so far despite her young age.

Ashley Sanchez (Etats-Unis)

This is what we call a dream year. For her first professional season, the 22-year-old forward won the prestigious American championship, the National Womens Socce League, with Washington Spirit. Her good performances in the NWSL caught the eye of the United States national team head coach Vlatko Andonovski who handed Sanchez her first international call-up. The opportunity for the Sud Ladies Cup 2018 winner to make her international debut against Australia (3-0) in a friendly. An unforgettable 2021 year !

Momoko Tanaka (Japon)

Two years after her participation at the Sud Ladies Cup 2019, the 21-year-old goalkeeper earned her first international cap with the Japan national team against Netherlands (0-0). The Nippon TV Tokyo Verdy Beleza goalkeeper played the whole game and kept a clean sheet !
