Several Sud Ladies Cup graduates have been involved in transfer deals over the last weeks notably through the NWSL Draft which allowed several youngsters to sign for a club from the prestigious North American league. Recap.
Alison Gonzalez (Club America)
The 19-year-old striker enjoyed a thrilling 2021 year. In addition to establishing herself as a regular starter for her national team over the last twelve months, the Mexico international (10 caps, 3 goals) has been as well in a stunning form for Atlas FC. She has been rewarded by the observers as she has been included in both CONCACAF Team of the Year and IFFFHS’s U20 World Team of The Year.
Unsurprisingly, the Sud Ladies Cup 2019 graduate has attracted interest from several clubs and the Mexican league all time third top scorer eventually decided to continue her career with Club America. She leaves Atlas FC after becoming the club’s all time top scorer with 72 goals netted in 100 fixtures.
