Flores, Béché, Aguirre... the Sud Ladies Cup graduates animate the transfer market

While the start of the 2021-2022 campaign is fast approaching, the traditional summer transfer window is in full swing. Many deals sealed recently have involved players seen at the Sud Ladies Cup previously.

Silvana Flores (Tottenham)

The Sud Ladies Cup 2018 best player will wear a new shirt but will continue to play in the Barclays FA Women's Super League, the English top-flight, as the 19-year-old midfielder moves from Reading to Tottenham.
The Mexico international announced the transfer through social networks by sharing a photo showing her playing in a friendly against Arsenal… one of her former clubs !

Amandine Béché (Fleury 91)

After spending two seasons with FC Nantes in the Second Division, the 19-year-old returns in the French top-flight as she signed for D1 Arkéma side Fleury 91. “I’m proud and happy to play again in the First Division with FC Fleury, to be involved in the club’s projects. It’s an honor for me to wear the Fleury shirt”, told the France U20 international to the club’s official website.

Zoe Aguirre (Club America)

Mexico U20 international Zoe Aguirre will play in the local league after spending several years in the United States, notably at the San José State University. The 20-year-old goalkeeper joined Club America, one of the most popular clubs in Mexico !

Sherly Jeudy (Grenoble)

The Haiti international will discover a fourth club in her club after playing for FF Issy, Santiago Morning (Chile) and FC Nantes. The French Second Division side Grenoble announced recently the arrival of the 22-year-old forward.

Ruthny Mathurin (Ragin Cajun’s Soccer)

The 20-year-old defender will continue her career in the United States as the Haiti international joined NCAA team Ragin Cajun’s Soccer. “Ruthny is going to be a tremendous addition to our program. We have been working with her for quite some time to make this happen and we are thrilled it is becoming a reality”, said her new coach Lance Kay following her arrival.

During her career, Mathurin has notably won the Haitian league with Tigresses.
