Elu meilleur joueur du Festival International Espoirs 2016, Ruben Loftus-Cheek a été convoqué pour la première fois de sa carrière en équipe nationale d’Angleterre !
Le milieu de 21 ans a ainsi été appelé par le sélectionneur Gareth Southgate pour les rencontres amicales face à l’Allemagne (10 novembre) et le Brésil (14 novembre). Autant dire que le jeune Anglais pourrait avoir l’opportunité d’effectuer ses débuts internationaux face au gratin du football mondial !
Prêté par Chelsea à Crystal Palace, Loftus-Cheek a déjà disputé 6 matchs de Premier League cette saison.
