Wales and Ivory Coast shared the spoils (2-2) after a very breathtaking match.
During the first period, the game was pretty balanced. Both teams had ball possession, and tried to come near to the opponent’s goal. However, only Wales had big situations, and succeeded to score by George Thomas (WAL/7) at the 8th minute. Except a few Welsh situations, both teams struggled to cause danger to each other. Then we have attended to a real midfield battle and a lot of fouls were committed by Ivorians as well as by the Welsh players.
Wales took the lead in the first half-time, but Ivory Coast won the second one. The Africans scored two goals during the second part, by Tiehi (CIV/3) with a header, and Krasso (CIV/12) thanks to a stunning volley. Ivorians have shown themselves quite strong after scoring the second goal, and Welsh didn’t be very dangerous until the last minute, when Thomas (WAL/7) scored the equalizer after a big goalkeeper's mistake.
