Qatar leave the competition without a win, at the last place of the ranking after his defeat against South Korea (1-2) for the ranking match of the 11e and 12e place at Mallemort. Bruno Pinheiro reveals his disappointment.

« I am disappointed, my players as well. We are much more than that, there are days like that where it goes wrong. We did not play at our level. If we want to go to the Asian Cup or the World Cup, you have to beat those oppenents and we didn't today. To make an assessment, at the positive level, we improved in defending. We played probably against the two best teams of the tournament, Mexico and England. We grew up during the competition. About the negative points, we didn't play at our real level, it's not the game and the tournament that we wanted to do.

It’s always important to play against more stronger opponents, it exposes all our weaknesses, and it’s the more important aspect in order to be able to improve. For the future, we have an Asian Cup in October, the goal is clear : we want to qualify for the U20 World Cup. »
