The winter transfer market closed on Tuesday night and, like every year, several deals have involved players seen in the past at the Maurice Revello Tournament. Recap !

Among all the moves registered this winter, this is the most resounding by far. Five times Ballon d’Or winner and Maurice Revello Tournament 2003 winner Cristiano Ronaldo has joined this winter the Saudi side Al-Nassr. At 37, the Portugal legend (196 games, 118 goals) will discover his fifth league after playing in Portugal (Sporting), England (Manchester United), Spain (Real Madrid) and Italy (Juventus).

Other significant transfer : Matheus Cunha leaving Atletico Madrid for Wolverhamption on loan with an obligation to buy estimated at €50M ! That illustrates the expectations surrounding the Maurice Revello Tournament 2019 winner. In England, Cunha will have the opportunity to face a talent seen at the Maurice Revello Tournament 2022 : Facundo Buonanotte. Other talents seen at the Maurice Revello Tournament 2022 have been signed by several European clubs this winter : Colombian youngsters Gustavo Puerta and Daniel Luna have joined respectively Bayer Leverkusen and Mallorca. Meanwhile, Franco Carboni will continue his Serie A learning under the Monza shirt while Nathanael Mbuku will discover the Bundesliga as the Frenchman penned a contract with Augsburg.

 Among the other moves, we can notice the return in Europe of the Mexico legend Guillermo Ochoa, new goalkeeper of Salernitana, and also the arrival in France of the Toulouse new boy Gabriel Suazo.
