In collaboration with Sportall, a specialist in global sports event streaming and OTT solutions for rights holders, the Festival International Espoirs is pleased to announce the launch of "Youth Football Arena" (youthfootarena.tv), a new video streaming platform dedicated to youth football.

As of today, Youth Football Arena will be the EXCLUSIVE broadcaster of the 2023 edition of the Sud Ladies Cup, whose 4th edition takes place from 16 to 21 May 2023 at the Parc des Sports in Avignon. The tournament will host four U19 national teams: Cameroon, France, Japan and Panama. In an effort to highlight women's football and make it accessible to as many people as possible, all six matches of the competition will be broadcast live for FREE on the platform.

All the images of the competition (highlights, goals, reactions, replays...) will also be available for free on Youth Football Arena a few minutes after the final whistle of each match.

Fixtures:

Tuesday 16th May:
6:00 pm: Cameroon-Japan

Wednesday 17th May:
6:00 pm: France-Panama

Friday 19th May:
5:00 pm: Japan-Panama
9:00 pm: France-Cameroon

Sunday 21st May :
2:00 pm: Cameroon-Panama
6:00 pm: France-Japan

The Maurice Revello Tournament will also be offered on the platform, in addition to the television agreements already signed in certain territories. Thus, in agreement with Pitch International LLP, the company holding the television rights of the competition, some images of the 49th edition of the Maurice Revello Tournament will be available on the platform via several adapted formulas.

With this new video platform, the Festival International Espoirs aims to offer a global digital destination where emerging international football talent, both male and female, can shine throughout the world. The content of Youth Football Arena will be developed rapidly through partnerships with other youth tournaments and official competitions.

Alain Revello - Sud Ladies Cup & Tournoi Maurice Revello President

« It is always very motivating to give birth. With the experience of the Maurice Revello Tournament, we created the Sud Ladies Cup in 2018. Today we are taking a new step... a media one.

The creation of the "Youth Football Arena" on the Sportall platform has generated a lot of enthusiasm among the whole team. To offer football fans around the world the images of the tournaments we organise is quite a challenge. We have been able to achieve this thanks to the professionalism of Sportall's managers and technicians.

We insist on the complementarity that we want. "Youth Football Arena" is and must remain a complementary tool for broadcasters.

Our consumers are different from those who are used to watching their passion on traditional television channels. The two are one and the same. There are many bridges and our goal is to take them by the hand to watch hours of football in order to discover the talents of tomorrow. Not to mention the countless archives that are already available. »

Thierry Boudard - Sportall President :

« We are particularly pleased to support the Festival International Espoirs in the launch and development of the Youth Football Arena, an exciting project that meets a real need for exposure and showcasing of youth football. We will support the organising committee with our technology and all our associated services to make this project a real success. »

About the Festival International Espoirs :

The Festival International Espoirs is the organising company of two football competitions for young players: the Maurice Revello Tournament and the Sud Ladies Cup.

Created by Maurice Revello in 1967, the Maurice Revello Tournament, formerly known as the Toulon Tournament, is a football competition reserved for international U21 teams. Since 2017, the Tournament brings together 12 nations. The selected players are invited by the organisers based on their recent performances or sporting goals.

The Festival has grown over the years to the point where it has gained an international reputation. Zinedine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo, Thierry Henry, Alan Shearer, Rui Costa, Javier Mascherano, Cafu or Hristo Stoichkov: all these great players who have passed through the competition have contributed to the reputation of the tournament.

Given the popularity of the Tournament over the decades, the concept was then applied to women's football. As football institutions are stepping up their efforts to support the growth of women's football, the Sud Ladies Cup was born in 2018.
